Strike was for women's rights (equal pay).
Lead to an equality pay.

At the time women were fighting to be heard (women's rights)

North Vietnam was communist so America announced that they would bomb it.
This war went on for 27 years
First war that had less bias coverage lead into massive protest in America and UK that war should be over.
First war England wasn't apart of.
The protests reached a level where a monk burned himself alive to prove a point.








Britain won a second gold medal at the Mexico olympics
By a veterinary surgeon called Bob Braithwaite, won clay pigeon shooting competition
The 1968 Mexico olympics was best known for Neil Leifers famous picture of the 'Black power salute'
