LL: media language print terminology

  • masthead - the magazine title 
  • main image - the main picture 
  • minor images - small pictures around the side
  • colour pallet  - colours used on the front colour 
  • lexis (teasers) - 
  • layout - how the front cover is arranged 


the colour pallet is more dark colour tones on the left photo, this attracts the view of 15-30 year olds. and the colour pallet of the right photo id bright and colour-full that attracts young audiences.
